六角形の紙セルの芯を2枚のクラフトライナーで挟んだサンドイッチパネル。蜂の巣と同じ幾何学構造が荷重を全セル壁に分散させるため、これほど軽い板がこれほど重い積載に耐えます。荷重下でも平らなまま、衝撃を製品に伝えず吸収し、重さは合板のごく一部——容積重量で課金される輸送ではコストも下がります。全体が紙なので他のダンボールと一緒にリサイクルでき、木材梱包と違い輸出時のISPM-15熱処理・燻蒸規則の対象外です。パレットデッキ、レイヤーパッド、木箱・ケースの壁面、家具やドアの芯材、エッジ保護、重量物まわりの緩衝材に使われます。
